Overview
Situated in Ngawi and Blora regencies, Indonesia, the Project is a strategic initiative spanning 3,280 hectares of degraded landscape. By combining reforestation and vegetation enrichment, this project aims to sequester about 34,217 tCO2eq/year over 30 years. It hosts 21 herpetofauna species, 27 plant species, 4 mammals, 55 bird species, and 5 critically protected species. These efforts are closely tied to enhancing the livelihoods of 27,633 local communities across 10 villages who rely on forest resources. Notably, the project area holds a perpetual special-function forest zone status, ensuring long-term protection and stability.
