What You'll Do
- Manage project timeline, manage stakeholders and verification process to ensure certification process is successful
- Conducting feasibility studies to assess the carbon credits potential, economics, and risks of potential carbon projects
- Working with Biodiversity and Community partners to realize impact referring to several standards such as HCV, FPIC, SIA
- Interpreting remote sensing data to assess carbon projects feasibility and quantify the carbon credits potential
- Carrying out carbon stock assessments, starting from determining sample, data collection, and processing carbon stock data
- Working with field partners to ensure that the programs implemented are carried out according to plan
What This Role Needs
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in the climate and nature-based solutions sector. Very strong preference if candidate has experience in carbon, payments for ecosystem services, project development, remote sensing, and community engagement
- Strong conceptual problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English and some level of previous exposure to the ASEAN sustainability and business landscape is a plus
