What You'll Do
- Developing and managing a database for REDD+ and reforestation projects.
- Conducting research and analysis on the ecological aspects of REDD+ and reforestation projects.
- Identifying and documenting potential tree species for reforestation programs on mineral lands.
- Supporting research and development of carbon accounting methodologies for REDD+ and afforestation projects.
What This Role Needs
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, or a related field
- Familiarity with forest-based carbon projects such as REDD+ (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation), reforestation, and afforestation activities.
- Experience with research methodologies and data analysis tools is preferred.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
